By locking apps directly into the interface, OpenAl aims to become the only website you need. For founders, building inside ChatGPT offers instant access to 300 million users, but the price is invisibility. You lose the direct customer relationship. The era of "Destination Websites" is fading, now you have to decide if you want to be the platform, or a feature in someone else's.
